Hawaii Lemon
Law Test
There are 5 different definitions of a lemon in the Hawaii
Lemon Law. If you answer "yes" to any question below,
then you have a lemon. Remember, just one "YES" and
you've got a lemon!
Was
your vehicle worked on by the dealer for the same defect at
least 3 times, during the first two years or 24,000 miles of
your ownership, and it was not finally fixed at the end of
the 3rd attempt (the 3 strikes
rule)?
Did you have a dangerous defect that was worked
on by the dealer at least one time, during the first two
years or 24,000 miles of your ownership, and it was not
finally fixed at the end of that first attempt (one chance
for a deadly defect)?

Was your vehicle in the dealers repair shop
for a total of 30 business days during the first two years
or 24,000 miles of your ownership (30 days
max)?

Did you give them a reasonable number of
chances to fix your defects, but the defect is still
there?

Did you give them a reasonable amount of
time to fix your defects, but the defect wasnt fixed
timely?

If you said "yes" to any one (or more) of these questions then

cars and lemon trucks is what we do.
